Have you researched and contacted some schools yet ?

All the best

Bhavna

Thank you so much, Bhavna. So kind of you to reply.

I have been applying but there's no news yet.

I have obtained Assessment of Qualifications by Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science.

The qualification is comparable in level to a Danish bachelor degree plus one year of a Danish Master of Arts.

I will keep trying. I even thought of coming over and approach directly to the schools? what u think? any ideas?

regards,

prithini

@ prithini :

It would be great if you could actually get in touch directly with some schools.

Note that Bhavna is a member of the Expat.com team and can't help you further with your questions about working in Denmark, since she is not from this country.

Therefore, i would suggest you to create your own thread on the Denmark forum and to ask all your questions.

Expatriates living there might be able to guide you and give you more specific information.

Thank you,

Hello everyone!

My husband recently got a job in Denmark and I will join him soon. I'm tasked with handling all the logistics of the move from Japan. It's really complicated! lol. I'm also struggling because VFS and Danish authorities keep losing my residence permit 1f62d.svg I've been issued a residence permit and also a CPR number but I've never seen my permit or entered Denmark. It's such a mess! Anyway, once that is sorted I will be joining my husband in the western side of Denmark. I have a lot of hobbies and hope to meet others with similar interests, but we will live in the countryside so it might be difficult.

This isn't my first time moving to a foreign country but it's certainly the most challenging so far.

I'm always happy to connect with new people and will listen to any advice with an open mind. Nice to meet you!

Hello and welcome on board @Kaia,

Moving is always very stressful specially getting the formalities done and logistics right.

That's why some people prefer to use an agent. However for those who want to take up the challenge, we are here as a community and we will try to guide you.

I can see that you have created a thread on the forum to put forward your questions. I hope you get some guidance soon.

It is essential to stay in touch with VFS and the Danish authorities to resolve the issue promptly. Keep records of all communication and documentation related to your permit/move.

Be. patient with yourself, you are doing your best.

Bhavna

The pay of a bartender will never meet the income requirements needed to enter Denmark.

Hello Everyone,

I'm Fabrice, 34, from France.

I planned to move to Denmark (Copenhagen) on Janurary (I already rent a small flat for 2 months).

My best Friend is living in CPH for 5 years now an during my visits I simply fell in love with the country !

Right now I'm working in IT as software project manager in construction domain but I'll also try something else (why not workng as a construction worker for few months).

Unfortunately I'm not speaking Danish but I still have 4 months for trying hard !

Wish me luck :)

Best regards
