I have had an OCI card for many years.
I got a renewed UK passport last year.
I updated my new passport details and photo on the Indian Embassy website OCI miscellaneous services. The first attempt was rejected due to unacceptable photo - the OCI status report said Rejected.
I tried again with a different photo. The second attempt I was successful and the OCI status report said Your details have been updated in OCI records.
I expected to receive an up to date replacement OCI card but, having waited a month, nothing has arrived.
Does anyone know what I need to do in order to get an up to date OCI or will Indian immigration accept my current OCI card showing old passport details? Apparently they have updated my details in OCI records so maybe Indian Immigration at Mopa, Goa will check that way?
I am 79 years old. Travelling to Mopa, Goa on 23rd November so any help, advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
