This is Jitesh Kansara. We are an Indian family, currently working/residing in Kota Cilegon.
We are planning to relocate to Tangerang/Serpong from next year for the education of my children.
Though I am an extrovert kind of person and can build a network with any community, just willing to know about Indian community in the said area just to start it off.
Since new to Indonesia, any leads to this will help me n my family get settled easily and also help me find a suitable accommodation as well.
Just to add a bit more to it, I am planning for my children to join Binus school in Serpong. Hence above info in Serpong area will be of a great help to me.

I have no clue about any Indian community in that area but I know the place well so general info should be easy for the most part.
Binus has an excellent reputation for quality education and has facilities like you can't believe, even ATMs on school grounds.
I've never heard a bad word about it, but glowing reports are everywhere.

There's a big estate very close to the school. It's been about 4 years since I last went in but it looked nice.

Shopping is very easy and there are good 'hangout' places close by, Living world at Alam Sutera being one of the best for restaurants.

The nearest cinema to Residence one is about 5 minutes walk away, but the one in Living world has a premier screen
The mall near the residence was refurbished a year or so ago

Well, as I said earlier, I am open to develop the my network but to begin with, for family of course, I was looking for some Indian families. I have seen some families in Lulu hypermarket during my visits to Tangerang, and I also heard that there are some Indian families in Tangerang.... Let me wait for someone raise his fingure :-) in this tread !!
