Where to find the cheapest sunscreen?

I just arrived at Mauritius with a few bottles of sunscreen and the first one is already finished after three days.

I checked in two stores and I only found German and US brands for 900-1000 MUR per 250ml for 50 protection lotion.

Are there any cheaper brands and stores than that?

Thanks! 😎

Pharmacy

There is a cosmetics shop name Phydra they sell sun screen oil and cream SPF 50, cheaper than other places. The brand is Malibu. But when last time I bought couldn't find the expired date on the bottle. These bottles were stay in the corner at the shop, I suspect no one interested maybe stay there for years. Anyway they are really cheap and buy 2 get 1 free.

When I was staying at the Beachcomber near the Blue Bay Marine preserve last year, I was reminded to use a "reef-safe" sunscreen. Here is a link to some of the "reef-safe" products out there -> https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/beauty … 1EALw_wcB. . I use Neutrogena Sheer Zinc SPF 100 and this seems to work really well.

Hope that this helps.

Thanks!

Hey mail61,

Thank you for asking your question here.

Sunscreens are available in all pharmacies on the island. Where exactly are you staying at the moment?

You should check here > https://www.medactiv.mu/suncare#/pageSi … ;orderBy=0 there is a wide variety of brands and prices. You may find a good value-for-money product. 1f609.svg
