I'm here seeking some insights and advice, as my partner and I are planning to tie the knot. The twist is, that I'm a UK national, and she hails from Iran.
Our main objective right now is to gain a better understanding of the marriage process and explore our best options. Initially, we were considering getting married in either Turkey or Georgia. However, we're unsure about what follows. Do we need to register our marriage in Iran after the ceremony abroad?
Additionally, I'm curious about the need for a marriage visa in Iran. As far as I know, entering Iran often requires a tourist visa with a tour guide, but does this apply when marrying an Iranian citizen?
Your advice and experiences on these matters would be greatly appreciated.
