I moved so I had to move my internet, it was a package from Meo that included internet, TV and cell phone card, this package had a 24 month term and 10 months had passed since it started.
Then I was told that because of the move I had to sign a new contract for 24 months, it was recalculated and the first 10 months were no longer within and the price of the new contract was much higher.
I would like to know if this is customary in Portugal?
When I signed the contract last year I was not told by anyone that if I moved I would be signing a new contract and that my monthly bill would increase. The contract is dozens of pages, in Portuguese, and when I checked it with a translation program, it didn't seem to have been agreed upon that way.
I think this is unfair, is this something I have to accept?
