7 yrs in Marlborough

jrobinau

I'm originally from the US, but have traveled and worked abroad for a good chunk of my 75 years.  I became an Australian Citizen a couple decades ago, which fortunately confers permanent residency in NZ.  I've settled in Marlborough wine country for retirement and renounced my US citizenship.  Love it here.

Good wine comes with good climate.  Never really cold, and for sav blanc, never too hot either.  And one of the best regions in NZ for solar power.  Also relatively cheap real estate.

Feels like California in the 60s.
