Rent Appartment for 1000 or less EGP

I've seen all sorts of roommate ads for rooms starting around 1500 le.  I don't know about an entire apartment or living alone.  If there is such a thing, I'm interested, too!

i think for egyptian can be but not less than 1000 EGP
for expats i think you can not find that is Egypt unfortunately

There are areas where renting is cheap: El Haram- Giza, Ain Shams- Heliopolis...But areas are not very good.
Someone told me last summer that 6 October city has flats for rent under 1000 LE, but unfurnished.
If your friend is young and alone he could share a flat in a good area than renting a whole one is a dirty area.

Ali, I know some people living at Gasr El Swiz, near Airport, paying even less than 1000 L.E.
Flats are clean, manay overseas(pk) families are living there,I can guide you further if you re interested, yet agian you will have to visit the area once.

I am living in Sh. Zayed, Al Badr Compound, unfurnished townhouse here 800-900 EGP, plenty available. If to be clear about location , it is opposite Beverly Hills Compound.
