Our Name

 

Picking our name from one of the tallest waterfalls in Africa the little-known Jinbar Falls, located in the heart and most dramatic locations of Simien Mountain National Park, Ethiopia, which is 530 m high. After a 2-hour walk taking eastern escarpments from Sankaber campsite and the 15-minute walk from the roadside of Kaba valley to the lookout across the chasm, Jinbar Waterfall is well worth taking and mind-blowing. The views are vertiginous and the fall is at its best in the rainy season when water cascades down a sheer cliff across the other side of the valley.
