English International School of Bratislava
Private schoolsMaking the right choice of school for your child is very important. We very much hope that you will choose EISB and we welcome prospective parents and their children at any time.
In September 2012 our international school opened in the centre of Bratislava. The school was created by three former teachers of another local International school, Eddy Richardson, Jason Henthorn and Jozef Macak, who felt that they could, and should, offer a better all round educational experience for people wishing to place their children in a private school. Our resulting school is firmly based on the academic, social and sporting standards found in a typical British independent school.
The English International School intends to remain a small, single form entry school so as to offer the considerable benefits that only a small school can provide. Central to our educational philosophy is the belief that our teaching staff is the most valuable resource we have. At present our native-speaking staff have an average of 15 years teaching experience in British and overseas schools - our Slovak staff are fully qualified educationalists with many years experience in International and UK schools.
Our curriculum is both strongly academic and progressive. All of our pupils learn computer skills where, through the use of chromebooks, ICT is integrated with daily learning. German is taught from the age of five and Slovak is taught, both as a statutory requirement for Slovak children and as an additional language to non-Slovak children.
We are looking forward meeting you in our school.
