Montessori Small World
International schoolsBilingual Montessori School 2-6 years old in Paris
Montessori Small World is an international bilingual school (FR/EN) applying the authentic Montessori educational method as an aid to life. We are a member of Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and Association Montessori France (AMF) and strictly adhere to the conditions of their charter.
Our bilingual school welcomes children aged two to six, Monday to Friday, in a family-like loving and caring environment and applies a well-studied educational project respecting each childs needs, personality, pace, and potential to ensure joyful and effective learning and to achieve the best possible intellectual and social development. Children are guided in their learning and their discovery of the world by experienced French and English-speaking Montessori teachers holding Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diplomas.
Besides the application of the authentic Montessori method, our educational project is based on:
* Bilingualism: Children of all nationalities are totally immersed in both languages guided by at least one French-speaking teacher and one English-speaking teacher in each classroom.
* Artistic expression: By practicing daily artistic activities (visual arts, acting, music), children explore and understand the world around them through the senses and express themselves and their emotions in return.
* Openness to the world through Montessori culture activities, and a weekly "It's a small world" workshop, during which children are familiarized with the cultural aspects of a new country every week.
* Love of books through storytelling workshops and reading activities, aimed at making children readers for pleasure.
* Living together: Making children aware of living together through respect for self and others, a positive outlook on difference, tolerance, a spirit of benevolence, mutual aid, and altruism.
* Respect for nature through daily green actions and thematic environmental sustainability workshops.
Our extracurricular Clubs welcome all children aged three to six and offer them Montessori activities, fun and artistic workshops and cultural outings.
Application for academic year 2021-2022 is open and places are limited. For more information, please visit our website www.montessori-smallworld.com
" The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man's intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed. But not only his intelligence; the full totality of his psychic powers." Dr. Maria Montessori
