ISW is a fully state-accredited school and is one of more than 10,000 World-Wide authorized Cambridge International Education. By combining world-renowned, internationally recognized Cambridge programmes, elements from the esteemed Swiss education group SBW Haus des Lernens, and other cutting-edge pedagogy, ISW focuses on an holistic approach towards education, recognizing that all three aspects of development: academic, social and emotional, are crucial in an individual’s path towards personal development in an ever-changing global context.

and is an accredited examination center for Cambridge International Examinations, offering the full range of English examinations.

ISW is based in a beautiful former monastery in Landstuhl with the school offering lessons from 08.30am until 3.45pm. We also have optional before- and after- school programs running from 7.00am until 08.00am and 3.45pm until 5.00pm, including breakfast club, music, drama, art and sports. While the main language of instruction is English, German classes are also taught daily to all students.

ISW was initiated by the SBW Haus des Lernens with support from the ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz and provides a significant addition to the educational opportunities available to parents in the region. Recognised by the state of Rheinland Pfalz, the International School Westpfalz is an accredited supplementary school ('anerkannte Ergänzungsschule'), authorised by the German Ministry of Education.
