Fun and effective French tutoring for all levels

Whether you're studying, interested in getting to know your local community better or just want to be able to decipher a menu, I'll help you get to grips with the French language! I have an MA in French and Spanish from Aberdeen University and have spent over 8 years in Spain, Chile and above all, France (Paris, Toulouse and Pau), where I worked as an English language assistant at the local university for a year. My tutoring experience ranges from primary-age children to Highers students and adult beginners. I'm a great believer in a learner-led approach and try to weave clients' interests through my lessons where possible. Although not a native French speaker, I've frequently been mistaken for one. However, as an English speaker, I understand the difficulties experienced by fellow English speakers in terms of both grammar and speaking as I've had to grapple with them myself!  My rates range from 20€ hourly for very simple conversational classes to 45€ for more complex lessons.
