Cello lessons in Utrecht centre

I am Wilma and have been playing the cello almost all my life. I love sharing my enthusiasm for music-making and this gorgeous instrument. In my teaching, I look for an approach that works best for each student individually and challenge them at their own level. Technique and musicality are very much connected in my lessons. I look for a way of playing that requires the least amount of effort and tension, so that the naturally beautiful sound of the cello can emerge more easily. I enjoy teaching beginners, advanced cellists, and professionals; children and adults. Whether you'd like to learn to play the cello, refine your skills, or further develop yourself as a musician, I'd be delighted to accompany and guide you on your musical journey. I speak English, Dutch & Afrikaans. I teach on Oudegracht aan de Werf, Utrecht on Saturday afternoons.
