The National Museum Volunteers (NMV) has served the National Museum Bangkok since 1969.
Under the auspices of The Fine Arts Department, it supports the National Museum Bangkok through a variety of educational and cultural activities.
It consists of an international group of people who get together to discover and expand their appreciation for Thai and South East Asian art, customs history and Buddhist philosophy and educate others on the Thai national treasures held in the museum.
Our activities include
- the provision English, French German and Japanese guides to visitors to the museum’
- presentations and lectures by distinguished academics and enthusiasts from all over the world
- excursions to places of major cultural and historic interest in Thailand.
We are holding our annual reception on Friday 30th September at the
Napalai Ballroom

from 9:00am until 12 midda and invite you to join us to us.
Admission is free Light refreshments will be served and a demonstration of Thai classical dancing will be a highlight. We will have a number of booths outlining our activities
