Join us for the official UK album launch of Songs by Imogen Ryall & Emil Viklický—a captivating collection of eleven tracks, blending Moravian folk songs with jazz, ten of which are jazz and instrumental reworkings by Czech composer and pianist Emil Viklický. Known for his collaborations with Bill Frisell and Wynton Marsalis, Viklický's music pairs beautifully with lyrics by acclaimed UK vocalist Imogen Ryall. From the folk-inspired intimacy of Gone with Water to the playful groove of Conjurology, each song delivers an organic, magical interplay between voice and instruments. Featuring Julian Nicholas (saxophone), Petr Dvorský (bass), and Eric Ford (drums).
