Get out your comfort zone and practice your french. If you wish, you can submit a discussion topic that you will write on a (secret) paper. You can also pick up a discussion topic written by someone else and try to talk about it… en français bien sûr :) This is a free event. You just need to pay for your own drink. We might be sitting in the back room. Just ask to the waiter / waitress.
