Marzocco Trophy - flag wavers trophy

The Marzocco Trophy is an event rooted in the historical traditions of the city of Florence and is organized by the Bandierai degli Uffizi. The Bandierai are the official flag-wavers of Florence and the Florentine Historical Football. Every year, they host a competition, typically a four-team tournament, featuring some of the most prestigious flag-waving groups.

Accompanied by drums, trumpets, and historical figures, the flag-wavers parade through the streets of the historic city center, culminating in a performance in Piazza della Signoria, in front of the David and the Neptune Fountain.
