The New Zealand High Commission to Malta is sponsoring a series of six New Zealand films ("NZ Film Days") from March to May 2020 at Spazju Kreattiv in St James Cavalier, Valletta.
The New Zealand Consulate in Malta (www.nzconsulate.net/mt) is keen to let the Friends of Cottonera know so you can be first to reserve your free seats online, as each film is only being screened once.
Online bookings for the first three movies (Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Whale Rider, Waru) and session times are now available on Spazju Kreattiv's website (https://www.kreattivita.org/en/events/category/film). Online bookings for the other three films (They Shall Not Grow Old, Vai, Boy) will be available from 12 March.
We hope you'll enjoy this unique opportunity to experience the 'Kiwi' way of life: Pakeha*, Māori, Pacific Island and many other cultures all coming together in one place - New Zealand/Aotearoa*. Please spread the word about "NZ Film Days" to your friends and your family.

* 'Pākehā' (or Pakeha) is the Māori-language term for New Zealanders primarily of European descent. The term is also applied to fairer-skinned persons, or to any non-Māori New Zealander, and, like the word 'Kiwi' to describe something or someone from New Zealand, is now commonly used.
* 'Aoteroa' is the Māori-language term for New Zealand.
