Join us for the next Gothenburg English Comedy Night on Wed, mar 6 at Scandic Rubinen! For this show we are flying in 3 pro stand-up comics again to entertain you in English.
With headliners Nico Yearwood (Barbados), Alistair Williams (UK), and Nigel Ng (Malaysia).

Nico Yearwood (Barbados) - Originally from the tropical island of Barbados, Nico has been setting the London comedy circuit alight with his unique blend of Caribbean flavoured comedy. Whether he is delivering hilarious stories about growing up in Barbados or his new life in London, his laid back style and charm immediately win audiences over and leave them wanting more. He is always a crowd favourite. “Instinctive likeability and an appealing spark in his natural performance, compering work shouldn’t prove in short supply.” Steve Bennett, Chortle
Nigel Ng (Malaysia) - Nigel lives in London now and made his TV debut on Comedy Central’s Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central, shortly followed by Comedy Central’s Roast Battle. He won the prestigious Amused Moose Laugh Off 2016 and was runner up in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2015. He was also a finalist in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2016 and Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2015 competitions. He was selected to perform in The Pleasance Comedy Reserve at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017. Tipped as ‘One to Watch’ in 2019 by Chortle, he can now be seen performing in comedy clubs all around the UK and Europe.
Alistair Williams (UK) is quickly making a name for himself with razor sharp content and high-watt charm. He’s already become a regular at the UK’s most famous venues including The Comedy Store and Up the Creek. Combining raw personal anecdotes with a jam packed gag count and slick extroverted style, he creates bespoke comedy content to challenge the food and health industries, regularly grabbing the attention of leading megabrands.
