Anna Orlik, Polish violinist and virtuoso, plays virtuoso works for violin.
Recital in honor of the 240th anniversary of the birth of the legendary Italian violinist and virtuoso composer Niccolò Paganini.
PROGRAMME: works by Niccolò Paganini, Karol Lipinski.
A Polish-born violinist, she has been a prizewinner in numerous competitions, including the 1st prize at the W. Marschner International Violin Competition in Germany, the Haverhill Sinfonia Music Award in England, and the M. Reger International Competition in Germany. Anna has performed as a soloist in Europe, Africa and America. Anna has performed as a soloist in prestigious concert halls and festivals: Victoria Hall, Auditorio St. Ursula Lima Peru, Menuhin Forum Bern, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Crans Montana Classics, Rosey Concert Hall, etc. She performed the Sonata for two violins by S. Prokofiev with Maxim Vengerov at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival.
Anna Orlik was a student at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London and the Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland where she was a student of the world renowned violinist, Maxim Vengerov. Anna has collaborated in concert with artists such as: Cecilia Bartoli, Maxim Vengerov, Gary Hoffman, Baiba Skride, also jazz- Avishai Cohen Trio and pop- Germaine Jackson.
