C Macherel is the winner of several national and international awards. His first album received 5 Diapasons and was broadcast on the biggest radio stations such as France Musique, New York Public Radio, Bayerische Rundfunk, RTS, NDR Radio, Rai I etc.
The cellist has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the St-Petersburg Taurida State Orchestra, The Karlsbad Symphony Orchestra, the London Mozart Players, Aarau Symphony Orchester etc.
