Join thousands of Francophones and Francophiles from Sydney and surrounding areas at Killarney Heights Public School’s oval for a great day of food, fashion, home wares, small vintage furniture, a historical re-enactment, music and rides, at the 14th annual French Market in Killarney Heights on Sunday 4th November 2018 from 9am-4pm. Browse 60 stalls of professional merchants selling authentic French items such as saucissons, foie-gras, pâtés and other terrines; macarons, croissants, baguettes; French cheeses; books, magazines, DvDs and Blu-Rays in French language; jewellery and fashion accessories inspired by French culture, and so on.
This market is also a festival to celebrate all things French with wine tasting, food to eat on site such as a merguez (sausage) barbecue, raclette, sweet and savoury crêpes, French fries, waffles and croque-monsieurs while listening to some French music in the background. Rides, games and face painting will enchant the younger crowd.
Gold coin donation at the entrance; the market is a fundraiser for the French-English Bilingual Program run by FANS, a non for profit association, at the Killarney Heights Public School.
