This classic film follows the story of 12-year-old Antoine Doinel, who feels unloved by his parents and misunderstood at school. Antoine lies, steals, and skips school. After being caught stealing, he is sent to a juvenile detention centre but escapes to fulfil his dream of seeing the sea. "Les Quatre Cents Coups" won an award at the 1959 Cannes Film Festival.
