Noise pollution

I just wonder how many people in KL (city center and suburbs) are suffering from noise pollution especially caused by motor bikes and sports cars racing around without a muffler in the middle of the night. I don't know any civilized city that would allow that to happen. Another thing that seems not a problem at all; loud live music in a residential area till midnight.

This kind of thing is very annoying. There's a law on the books that allows noisy motorcycles to be impounded, but it doesn't seem to be enforced, or only sporadically.

mbelderink108, you must be talking about the Hartamas area in KL. I know what you mean. The noise pollution at that hotel is crazy. Dogs yelping incessantly, some rooster going cock-a-doodle-doo literally non-stop for hours starting before sunrise, psychopaths gunning their engines. I stayed there three months in 2018 and it was hell.
