most common ways to start/continue career

Vladimirs S

Hello people! New one here.

I just recently returned from my second tour to the Philippines with growing will to return there for good ideally or long time at least.

I'm an EU citizen, 41, single, but have a kid.

I have a few friends in the Philippines I made during my stays there, but I'll be glad to get any advices on first steps regarding long-term stay there. Currently I'm considering to try to find a job according to my skills and experience - I'm an IT manager specializing in public service and fintech products, agile coach and scrum master with over 11 years of total IT experience. As I already understood companies are mostly interested in people eligible to work in the Philippines. But acquiring working visa and work permit requires a contract from employer.

What are the most common ways to start/continue career in that field the Philippines?

And, as I said, any other advices will be appreciated.
