Getting PACs and applying for PACs visa

Katu Ponse

Hey,

I want to know if I can Pacs with my partner and apply for a PACs visa if I have a residence permit (Not tourist) in other EU countries?

My boyfriend is French and I am Thaiใ

We have been together for over 3 years but the thing is that we visit each other only for few months and I do not really have a chance to stay in France for at least a year.

So I was just wondering if it's possible to do PACs and perhaps afterward apply for a PACs visa?

Even if you get a PACS you need to show one full year of 'vie commune'

Yes the above is true. You will need a proof of living together for at least one year. Also depends on your perfecture, so I suggest reading the perfecture website. If you have further questions, lots of Facebook groups which deal exactly with this. The visa is called vie privée et familiale.
