kenya (yetu)

Kenya is a beautify country, and you should travel light, carry as little cash as possible.

Nearly every small and major town has ATM machines, keep your ears and eyes open, and go with the flow, people here speak mainly swahili and english is widely spoken, places you must visit while in the country.

Lake turkana, rift valley, lake nakuru, masai mara, kakamega forest, kericho , mount kenya, kisumu and mombasa, diani kilifi and finally malindi.

There are flights going directly from europe to nairobi or mombasa you can take a connecting flight from nairobi to kisumu, diani, eldoret, masai mara or even malindi, you can travel by train as well from nairobi to mombasa which for first timers is a must do thing.

Kenyan people are very friendly, and happy individuals but i would recommend you dont trust strangers and dont accept food or drinks from anyone you dont know while in nairobi.

For gifts to take back home visit masai market, the village market, banana box and go to kitengela glass stop for drinks at karen blixen or you can go to kitengela for nyama choma ugali and tusker . You can also grab a nice italian pizza at the village market in gigiri, otherwise have a good one and go with the flow
