While living in New Delhi, you may encounter a variety of social situations. Sometimes you might have some leisure time to go out alone, at other times your family and friends might visit. Or you might want a romantic evening with your partner. No matter what your interests are, New Delhi is a perfect city with a lot of great avenues for some quality time.

Things you can do alone in New Delhi

People-watching can be a really fun activity when you are alone. New Delhi, being a densely populated city, has a large variety of people with their own unique quirks and sensibilities. You can visit a park (like Deer Park in South Delhi) and watch families and couples picnic all around. Or you can head out to Connaught Place where crowds from all around Delhi can be seen. There is just so much to observe in New Delhi- there's a strange beauty in this city's madness. You can visit several marketplaces like Janpath and just walk around trying various street food varieties and shopping cheap and good quality clothes. It will make a perfectly fun solo outing.

You can also head out to some great coworking spaces around the city if you would like to have a comfortable space for yourself for working as well as networking.

Romantic activities in New Delhi

There are many romantically themed green spaces (like the garden of five senses) in New Delhi where you can relax together under the trees and watch the beautiful flowers all around. Couples can also visit many great restaurants with fine dining options for a romantic dinner together. Many of these restaurants flaunt a perfect ambience for couples with candlelight and soft music. There are also many movie theatres in the city to watch a romantic flick together. You can even take a stroll around places like Connaught Place, walking hand in hand, adoring the city's beautiful architecture.

Group activities in New Delhi

If you are with your friends, heading out for some sports activities is a great idea. You can head to many sports arenas for a variety of activities together like bowling, paintball, or trampoline. You can also try go-karting with your friends. There are many amusement parks in the city as well to go on some thrilling adventure rides together.

Also, New Delhi offers a lot of activities for some quality family time. You can take the entire family to National zoological park to watch a myriad of wildlife in vast enclosures. White tigers, bears, blackbucks, emus and many more animals can be seen here. One can also visit Nehru Planetarium to watch many fun live interactions and programs of astronomy. Also, there is a national rail museum in the city to watch how the train network evolved over time. There's a fun toy train here for taking a ride around the museum premises.
