One of the most important things everyone wants to know before visiting a new country is ways of getting around-transportation.If you are planning to come to Kosovo, don't worry about this part.

The most convenient way of getting around inside a town is by taxi. They are cheap compared to all European countries ,as long as you need one for inside the city ride. There are 2 types of taxis around here, taximeters and fixed-price taxis. As any other capital city,Prishtina Taxi Service is somewhat more expensive than other towns yet cheap enough compared to world metropolitans.

The price range is 30-50 cents per kilometer which does not go very high if you consider the size of towns in Kosova. You can still choose a fixed-price taxi that offers a variety of prices for an inside-town ride ranging from 2.50 -4.00 Euros. Local public transport is available in Prishtina only while you can use it to get to other main towns of Kosova and it is really cheap ranging between 1-3 Euros the highest depending on the distance between Prishtina and your destination.

Trains are not very popular around here as the train system has not been remodelled after the war in Kosovo. They work on daily basis but only in specific destinations ,however they won't take you to every town.

You can also count on Rent-A-Car Service available at the airport and Kosovo towns. The cost to it is 30-50 Euros per day.
