As part of our expansion into the North Africa region, we seek a team member for a Business Development located in Algeria to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellence in chemical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Algerian market, with a focus on personal care, home care, agriculture, and textile industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
- Keep the team informed about changes in import and export legislation, ensuring smooth compliance.
- Understand and manage all aspects of export procedures, including tax regulations and customs requirements in North Africa.
- Participate in customer visits, sectoral fairs, and industry events to represent Latro Kimya and identify market trends.
- Monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Languages: Fluency in English, French, and Arabic is mandatory.
- Educational Background: While a chemical background is not mandatory, a strong ability to learn about and effectively sell technical products is essential.
- Experience: Prior experience in chemistry, manufacturing, business development, import/export, and understanding of customs regulations, especially in the North Africa region, is a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills; extroverted personality with the ability to build connections easily.
- Military Service: For male candidates, military service must be completed.
- Location: Based in Algeria, with no travel restrictions.
