Healthcare Assistant

Dear Sir/Madam

I wish to apply for a Carer position within your organisation.I believe that I have the skills and training required for that role.l am a certified Healthcare Assistant having studied with the Red Cross Society and Alison.I have experience in working within a Mental Health institution at Belvedere Medical Center where I completed my 6 months of attachment.

Through my experience as a Carer within a hospital setting, l have mastered the concepts of effective medication administration, reading patient vital signs as well as personal care provision.I take pride in handling patients with the utmost dignity, confidentiality and care, a manner well substantiated by my emphatetic and vibrant character.Open mindedness, attentiveness, teamwork and information technology are other skills that I have gained as a Healthcare Assistant.

I also gained valuable experience in managing challenging behaviours and with that, l was able to enhance my risk management skills.l have experience and understanding of person-centered care and being able to foster independence where possible.l am an excellent team player and my personality shines through when I am working as part of a team.
