Responsibilities:

Program Leadership:

Oversee the overall implementation and management of the IB Diploma Programme.

Provide visionary leadership in alignment with the school's mission and educational goals.

Collaborate with the school leadership team to integrate the IBDP into the broader educational framework.

Curriculum Development and Enhancement:

Ensure the effective delivery of the IBDP curriculum, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Collaborate with teachers to develop and enhance curriculum materials, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.

Stay updated on IB regulations, guidelines, and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.

Professional Development:

Lead and facilitate professional development opportunities for IBDP faculty and staff.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentorship, training, and ongoing support for educators.

Student Support and Guidance:

Collaborate with the school's counselling department to provide academic and career guidance to IBDP students.

Implement strategies to support student well-being, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Community Engagement:

Act as a liaison between the school, students, and parents to promote effective communication and partnership.

Organize and participate in parent information sessions, conferences, and events related to the IBDP.

Quality Assurance and Assessment:

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the IBDP, implementing improvements as needed.

Ensure compliance with IB standards and guidelines, participating in internal and external reviews.

Requirements:

Master's degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field.

Extensive experience in leading the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

A proven track record of successful leadership in an IB school setting.

In-depth knowledge of IB curriculum, assessment strategies, and program requirements.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and stakeholders.
