Cabarete and Kibayo Venue

We are located in Cabarete, a beach town of approximately 15,000 people, four hours north of the capital. The town has an active expat community, mostly people who work online, people who are already established, or expats who have a local business. The town attracts many tourists who come to kite surf, wave surf, or enjoy Cabarete's beautiful nature and community. The town is also known for its spiritual vibe, something that attracts many expats as well. The Dominican locals are very welcoming, accepting, and easy to connect with.

Kibayo began as a luxurious hostel and transitioned into a boutique hotel with a bar and brunch restaurant. After two years, we shifted to catering to private groups, such as retreats and intimate weddings, while still opening for individual bookings and breakfast when not hosting groups.

Our property is a total of 1500 m²/16,000 ft². It features a villa for lodging with a tropical secluded garden. The 3-level villa (600 m²/6,500 ft²) has 6 bedrooms with their own entrance, 7 bathrooms, a plunge pool, and 2 kitchens. In total, the villa can accommodate 16 people across 10 beds. Each room has a calming, earthy look, using natural eco-friendly materials designed by local artisans.

The secluded tropical garden (900 m²/9,500 ft²) features 2 thatched areas, a bar, restrooms, and more. It is nestled beside a lagoon within a National Park and is just five minutes from beautiful beaches, numerous restaurants, and various outdoor activities. Additionally, an international airport is only 30 minutes away.
