What is the essence of the role?
Based in Paris and working as part of an international team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to a clientele of top universities across Europe with a particular focus on English-taught MSc and MA programs. Your primary focus will be on postgraduate programs at universities in France and the UK.
What will your job look like?
• Performing research to generate leads and establish the first contact with prospective clients by phone, email, social media, etc., including traveling and meeting them face-to-face whenever possible
• Identifying and reaching out to potential education partners such as top universities and influential media agencies within the higher education sector
• Developing sustainable relationships with new and prospective clients (universities and business schools in France and UK) for our event brands and digital media services
• Following up after client meetings – preparing quotes and negotiating with them until the deal is closed, ensuring the long-term satisfaction and retention of clients
• Acting as an Account Manager and responding to client requests regarding our products.
• Liaising with internal departments and other international business developers (in UK, Canada, Bulgaria, etc.) to enhance the client experience
• Attending industry conferences and events to network, gather market insights, and analyze competitor strategies
• Assuming the role of a Candidate Education Consultant at company-sponsored events in Europe and abroad, providing expert guidance and support to candidates in matching them with the most suitable programs and their preferred choices of university or business school
• Skillfully navigating CRM tools to manage sales leads, track progress, and optimize sales processes
• Spearheading and implementing marketing strategies and media solutions, collaborating with clients to drive engagement and ROI
• Continuously seeking out new methods, tools, and solutions to enhance business development strategies and outcomes, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
The payment structure includes base salary attractive commissions per sale.

This position is not fully remote, but we do have a flexible home office policy.

What do you need to be successful?
• At least 2-3 years of work experience in the sales/business development sphere. Experience in the Education sector would be considered an advantage.
• A self-driven person with an innovative mindset and the ability to build, maintain and grow client relationships
• Ability and readiness to travel frequently (mainly to Europe) for meetings with clients and participation in our events as a consultant
• Confident MS Office user (especially Excel), comfortable with using a CRM
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and French
