Job Goals Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Director plays a key role in defining and executing long-term strategies for business development and overall sales policy management in close alignment with our vision, mission, and sales & profitability goals. He/She effectively manages the sales and marketing team, visits our customers and understands the international markets and trends in our industry. The Sales & Marketing Director acts as an important role model for the entire BON OOD organization. The job is located in Pavlikeni, Bulgaria.

Job Description:

Research and analyse potential target markets to develop consistent sales strategies aligned with the company's long-term business strategy.Propose and manage the annual sales budget post-approval.Build and lead a sales/marketing team of 10 managers and experts, fostering alignment with long-term sales strategies.Set SMART objectives for team members, support their achievement through daily mentoring and coaching.Provide regular feedback, evaluate performance, and maintain team motivation in line with the Vision, Mission, and Values of BON OOD.Participate personally in the sales process for special customers or complex cases.Ensure operational efficiency, risk management, and knowledge management by implementing and controlling appropriate processes and procedures within the commercial function.Manage and analyze the sales/marketing activities, including product launches, visual campaigns, trade shows.Oversee the product development team to ensure marketing strategies align with product offerings and customer needs.

Diplomas

Ideal Profile:

University degree in Business or Sales/Marketing, Food Technology, Engineering.Proven success in working within an EU environment, preferably in FMCG.Sales leader with a strategic mindset and extra strong executional capabilities.Proven leadership skills heading a team of up to 10 people.Good communication skills internally and externally to represent the company.Corporate background with experience in strategic planning and budgeting.Experience negotiating with major retailers and distributors.Independent decision-maker, proactive, and pragmatic with a passion for continuous improvement.Organized, consistent, quality-minded, and able to ensure performance and drive excellent execution.Advanced English proficiency is a must. German and/or French desired. Bulgarian would be an advantage.
