Import / Export Specialist

Proudly, responsible for the Business line Bits and Drilling tools (BDT) and also Drilling & Measurement (D&M) with

previous experience being in charge of Artificial Lift Solutions (ALS) and ensuring all the shipments that had to be

imported and exported using different regimes (FCG, SWEU, IPR and RGR) within the division is always done

efficiently following the correct process. I always carry out the work to the best of my abilities to help the team

achieve their aims.

• Provide customs clearance and delivery instructions to our customs clearance agents daily to ensure

shipments are delivered to the required destination.

• Assisted in the SAP X2 Data sheet, helping convert HTCs from US to UK codes, which allowed me to build up my IT skills

whilst assisting in the role and have become more equipped using Microsoft platforms.

• Equipped on GTS system, to release export blocks.

• Involved in Dual Use movements ensuring that compliance is carried out for each movement and ensuring

our compliance documents such as Consignee undertakings and Dual Use Licenses are in place.

• Entrusted on updating the cumulative tracker sheet on a monthly basis to help highlight the success within our

Logistics team and the savings our team achieve for Schlumberger though the use of special regimes.

• Previously was given the opportunity to carry out management checks, to ensure that team members had

been conducting import and export checks following the correct process.

• Complete BOD2’s and BOD’s monthly and submit to HMRC to ensure all goods processed as SWEU/IPR

are recorded correctly.

• Submit DHU’s on a monthly basis to HMRC to ensure goods that were incorrectly recorded as SWEU/IPR

are changed to FCG to comply with customs.
