Works Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.

Manage day-to-day site activities, including supervising workers and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with local building codes.

Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress reports.

Handle problem-solving on-site to address unforeseen challenges.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Building Manager or Works Foreman in Spain (preferably in the southern regions).

Strong understanding of Spanish construction codes, regulations, and permitting processes.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.

Familiarity with insulated concrete forms (ICF) or willingness to learn the technique.

Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members in both languages.

Preferred Qualities:

Technical or architectural background (a degree in construction management or civil engineering is a bonus).

Experience in sustainable or energy-efficient building practices.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
