Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings for trailers, tankers, and other metal fabrication products. The draftsman will work closely with Design engineers, sales engineers and production teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D drawings for trailers, tankers, and metal structures.

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).

• Modify and update designs based on project requirements and feedback.

• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and clients to refine designs.

• Assist in calculating material requirements and optimizing designs for production efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of revisions and design modifications.

• Support the R&D team in developing new product designs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in trailer tanker manufacturing or general steel fabrication company.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software.

• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding symbols, and engineering standards.

• Understanding of material properties (mild steel, stainless steel) and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
