Safety Engineer

Location: Yanbu, KSA

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent safety certification preferred.

5 years of experience in a safety engineering role

Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, and industry safety standards.

Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Provide safety training and resources to employees on safety practices, emergency response, and regulatory requirements.

Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

Review and update safety policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

Collaborate with management and other departments to improve safety practices and minimize risk.

Maintain and update safety records, reports, and documentation.

Participate in safety meetings and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Assist in the design and implementation of safety equipment, systems, and protocols.
