Carpenter (qualified)

Mathieu Builder is a small builder based in Australia near Melbourne, on the "Mornington Peninsula."

We are looking for 1 skilled carpenter for domestic work - at least 3 to 5 years of experience with a good basic English (and a desire to progress).

You must have completed a carpentry apprenticeship and ideally a vocational baccalaureate. You have personal arrangements that will allow you to live away from France for extended periods (~ 1 year).

You are in your prime and able to motivate yourself to achieve long-term goals. This could be the opportunity of a lifetime or just a fun year abroad, depending on visa requirements and your desires.

Australia has a shortage of skilled labour, which is why we are recruiting in France & UK .

This is a genuine opportunity . Mathieu Builder is run by a French carpenter who completed his apprenticeship 27 years ago and has been working in Australia for 10 years.

The company specializes in building eco-friendly homes (hemp concrete and cellulose), but not only, you'll be working on more "standard" projects.

The salary is good, and it's easy to start with a working holiday visa and then (if applicable) begin a sponsorship (with the possibility of becoming an Australian citizen...).

The company can facilitate your local integration, and Australia is a welcoming country, but you must have the desire to take the plunge.
