Pensions and tax by molly428

Hi, We are hoping to retire in Belize. Does anyone know if the 25% withholding tax on pensions would replace income tax? I don't want Revenue Canada double-dipping. ;) Thanks.

TaunyaFaye

Same appears to be true in the US - when you cash out retirement accounts the US Gov wants their money. Read More

30 day visa by Touqimonster

We are moving to Belize in May - we will purchase refundable departure tickets and then just cancel them after we arrive for a refund. Not an ideal scenario, but we know others who have gone this route successfully. You will be asked about your ... Read More

TaunyaFaye

Gales Point is somewhat known for their fruit and cashew wines, although we have not tried them yet. But we plan to and there is a lot of positive comments for their wine on various internet blogs. Read More

Where to buy a horse by glrags

I am moving to Placencia this summer. Does anyone know a reliable place IN BELIZE to buy a horse? Thank you.

Call Banana Bank Lodge near Belmopan. John and Caroline Carr have a lot of horses and can likely sell you one or know others that can. They have been in Belize for a long time and have always had horses. http://www.bananabank.com/ Read More
