Obtaining a driving licence in Tripoli by Palachakh

It may sound crazy, but still: Does anyone know of a school where I could learn driving (in English) and subsequently obtain a driving license (preferably international)? Is it possible at all? Has anybody tried it?

Geoff Roberts

I had to have my British license translated into Arabic and it cost me 60 lyd and took 2 weeks to arrive, but I have never seen any driving schools in Tripoli and when you start to drive you will know why :-) Read More

Geoff Roberts

Sultans Gym is a chain, so there are a few dotted up and down Tripoli, its 5 lyd per visit but gets a bit cheaper if you sign up for 3, 6 or 12 months, but remember no mixed gym sessions, so you can only gom certain days. There is one just off ... Read More
