Dollar account in Argentina banks by alwish1
Anyone know if one can open a US dollar account in Argentina banks? If yes, are you allowed to exchange the dollars outside the bank, ie from private money changers?
Here’s a simpler answer. You can’t open a bank account in Argentina unless you have residency. So it doesn’t matter whether you use remitly or WU or whatever, you can’t transfer into a bank account. Read More

Visa at airport? by arezkiofstow
I am staying 45 days in DR this summer. Can i apply for the more-than-30 day stay visa at the airport or does it have to be done by a consular seevice in the US before arrival?
For what it’s worth, and this is not the “legal” way, but if you are just coming and going you can do nothing and pay the fine when you leave. I started the visa renewing Leicestershire once and it seemed onerous and no ... Read More
