I seem to have an extra amount added to my bill every where I go in PR, and the amount is usually the same, almost $20 - is this common on the island or am I being singled out somehow??

doc, one thing i learned about camping permits from the drna...you cannot get them at the humacao regional office...this is really inconvenient for me because i had planned to go to that southeastern region office and get permits for five or six ... Read More

thanks, gregg...more difficult indeed!...after several days of frustration with the drna phone number, i learned it was out of order and the drna never bothered to describe this in any way!...pretty amazing...i was able to get another drna number ... Read More

gregg, thanks for the tip on buying gas...i'll be at the pump a lot over the winter. I if there is a communication problem just say"no habla Espanol, habla Ingles?" If you need gas you can't pay for it at the pump. You have to go inside and tell ... Read More
