I was born in South Africa presently living in Scotland about to take up a position in Jeddah. I have worked as an expat in Botswana the Caribbean UK and UAE (short contract). I work in Insurance am married and have two grown up children. I enjoy cycling and scuba diving.

Glasgow is vibrant the people are the second most friendly in the world, there is something for everyone. I have been very very happy here.
The RAIN it NEVER NEVER stops!! The city is also run down in places and there is a huge alcohol problem here with binge drinking
Short term contract for an adjuster
Very modern and cosmopolitan very relaxed not what I expected of a Muslim country. Very safe very slick easy going in almost all respects
Dubai is a mirage in a lot of ways, show over substance in some ways
After returning to Newcastle I went to Inverness where I opened an office for Crawford Loss Adjusters later worked for Merlin Claims Services. I was then made redundant and moved on contract to Dubai
Beautiful country the Highlanders are wonderful people excellent diving :) cold water but great
Inverness is very distant and isolated the weather in the highlands can be daunting
