I joined expat.com on 24 February 2014.
I have only been in Cuenca for two months and I am currently seeking a position as a Business Language Trainer.
Cuenca is a fascinating city of extremes it seems to me. It has much to offer and I have been finding out a lot about the people and culture in my short stay here. For me --I love nature and birds especially which is one of the major reasons I chose to re-locate to Ecuador.
There are a lot of adjustments to make but with an open mind and a healthy sense of adventure--all is possible. Keeping fit to get across a street safely is a priority.

What's not to like?
Ew--the awful treatment of animals and disregard for pedestrians.
