Where to live: Royal City or Times City? by MissMK
Hi, We are expats currently living in Hong Kong and will be moving to Hanoi next month. My husband will be working and I will stay at home with the little one. We'd like to live in a tranquil and family-friendly neighborhood with easy access to ...
I wonder if my reply is a bit late. Don't choose Royal City, the living environment there is severely polluted with noise from chillers (cooling tower placed on the lowest building) and smell from exhaust duct of retail floors. Most of ... Read More

Just to share some thoughts. I don't think most of Vietnamese schools and Vietnamese parents discriminate Asian-looking English teachers. Like mojoyote has pointed out, if you come to meet the person-in-charge of recruitment face to face, you ... Read More

Best place to buy furniture and appliances by yttocs
Now that I have a place, I need to buy some appliances and furniture. I'm pretty set on TNH Co. for the appliances, but how about furniture ̣(bamboo preferred)? Any suggestions appreciated.
You may want to check out the sale of displayed products, which can help you to cut down the cost by around 40% to 50%. Electrolux and Cholon recently had such offer advertised on local newspapers. Read More
