Working as a clinical resource nurse in mental health at Al Ain Hospital. Originally from the UK aims to seek out new life and new civilisations ( Sorry I love the old Star Trek)
The culture and people - so very friendly. The pacce of life is slower than London, it's warm, no violence on the streets except drivers - road rage in every Country I have ever visited.
Drivers - no consideration for others so not sure about getting back on a motorcycle - perhaps when I get used to the driving here. Other than that what is there not to like ?
Had a good life in the UK - did my formal nurse training there and most of my school education. Do I want to go back ? Maybe for a holiday - miss my friends but they can visit me in the sun
A health care system that is open to all at point of delivery - no where else in the world (except maybe Canada) has this to my knowledge and long may it continue. A vibrant and multi- cultural society where racism is not accepted in any shape or form. Oh and last but by no means least - A Royal Family we can be proud of !
High taxes,a Government that won't listen to the people, noise, congestion charges........... I could go on.
