I am a Pakistani born, but residing in UK, since age of 7. Specialising in teaching ESOL to adults currently in the UK for a well known college in the area. Which I have been doing for 5 years now, with great results. Though I do have experience in teaching to young learners as well (but prefer adult teaching). I also have some experience in teaching basic numeracy at entry level. My qualifications range from a PTLLS (Preparing to teach in the lifelong sector), CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in Language Training for Adults), Level 5 Diploma from the university of Staffordshire in ESOL and Literacy. This is an immensely satisfying job, as you can track each student's progress and the improvement at the end of the year, not just in learning but in confidence is amazing and gratifying, which is the best part. Now looking for international opportunities to give back to the country and its people and pave the way forward for a better and advanced English speaking population.
